This should include lessons learned from previous mishaps, guided discussions on relevant safety topics, and other proactive measures.Ģ.b. An organized, all-hands 3–4 hour training regimen that identifies and educates personnel on the common on and off-duty mishaps within their Commands. Training will consist of the following:Ģ.a. During Risk Awareness Month, Commanders shall dedicate one day to risk awareness training and discussions. The Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps has designated June as Risk Awareness Month to increase awareness of on and off-duty risks and to highlight the significant increase in mishaps across the service from both operational and recreational activities during the busy summer months.Ģ.
